General Terms

Service description

Open Path Grid Academy delivers instructor-led training, workshops, and related educational materials for professionals responsible for mission-critical facilities. Programs may include classroom instruction, guided simulations, and collaborative exercises. Unless a written statement specifies otherwise, descriptions on this website summarize typical content and do not constitute a bespoke consulting engagement. Delivery locations, cohort sizes, and schedules may change to maintain instructional quality or to comply with venue requirements. Participants are responsible for confirming that a selected program aligns with their employer’s policies and licensing obligations before registration.

Participant obligations

Participants agree to follow safety instructions, respect confidentiality of scenario materials, and refrain from recording other attendees without consent. You must provide accurate registration details and update the organization if your contact information changes. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or misuse of training access may result in removal without refund except where mandatory consumer laws provide otherwise. If you attend on behalf of an employer, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms for billing and communications purposes.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction. Courts located in Seoul shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or from services delivered in Korea, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence. We may respond to lawful requests from regulators and will document communications where required by applicable professional obligations.

Liability limitations

Training is educational and does not replace licensed engineering, legal, or safety advice specific to your site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from any program shall not exceed the fees paid for that program. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or downtime, except where such limitations are prohibited. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend access to online materials or future events if fees are overdue or if a participant breaches safety or conduct rules. You may terminate your participation before the published cancellation window described in our Returns & Refunds materials. Provisions that reasonably should survive termination—including confidentiality, liability limits where permitted, and governing law—remain in effect. Upon termination, licenses to use distributed workbooks or digital handouts end unless otherwise stated in writing.

Contact regarding cookies

Questions about how we use cookies may be directed to hello@open-path.one. We route privacy-related requests to the data controller identified in our Privacy Statement. If you represent an enterprise customer, please include your company name and a secure return channel so we can authenticate your request without exposing personal data in public inboxes.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can keep a session stable, remember preferences such as language, or help us understand aggregated traffic patterns when you opt in to analytics. Similar technologies include local storage keys that remember non-sensitive UI choices like theme selection. We avoid using cookies to collect sensitive categories of data beyond what you voluntarily submit in forms.

Third-party technologies

When you opt in to analytics, limited technical data may be processed by subprocessors bound by contractual clauses consistent with our Privacy Statement. We do not sell personal information. Embedded content is kept minimal; if we add optional media from partners in the future, this section will list their domains and purposes. Fonts and static assets are served from the same host as the site to reduce cross-site tracking.

Cookie categories in use

Essential: maintains session stability and stores your cookie choice. Preferences: remembers display theme when you opt in via the settings control. Analytics (optional): helps us understand aggregated page performance if you explicitly allow it. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising on this property. Durations are kept short where feasible; preference keys may persist until cleared by you.

Returns & Refunds

Last updated: 2026-04-11

Scope of this policy

This policy covers paid registrations for publicly scheduled Open Path Grid Academy programs and digital materials explicitly sold with a fee. Enterprise statements of work may include different cancellation clauses; those clauses control when provided in signed agreements. Prices listed on the site are informational for planning and may be confirmed in writing before payment. No functional payment processing occurs through this static website; invoices are issued through offline or partner channels as agreed during enrollment.

How to request a change or refund

Email hello@open-path.one with your registration reference, cohort name, and whether you seek a reschedule or refund. We respond within five Korean business days with next steps. If you purchased through an employer, we may require internal confirmation to prevent duplicate refunds. Please avoid including government ID numbers in email; we will request verification through a secure method if needed.

Exceptions and force majeure

If we cancel a cohort due to instructor illness, venue closure, or other events outside your reasonable control, you may choose a full refund or a seat transfer. If you cannot attend because of documented medical emergencies or travel restrictions imposed after registration, we will attempt good-faith rescheduling; refunds may be partial if non-recoverable venue costs were incurred. Bad weather alone does not automatically qualify unless combined with official transit shutdowns affecting the majority of registered participants.

Eligibility windows

For open cohorts, cancellations requested fourteen or more calendar days before the start date receive a full refund of amounts already paid, less any non-refundable pass-through fees disclosed at checkout. Cancellations within fourteen days may receive a fifty percent credit toward a future cohort within six months. No-shows are not eligible for refund unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

Processing timeframe

Approved refunds are initiated within ten Korean business days of approval. Settlement timing may depend on your bank or card issuer. Credits for future training are applied to your account reference and expire if unused within the stated credit window. If a dispute arises, we will provide a written summary of calculations and any pass-through fees withheld.
